Windsor Horse Show Members disappointed

Did anyone else go to the Members enclosure at Windsor this year? Was anyone else disappointed by the fact that they had moved the marquee so that the ring wasn't visible from inside when it was cold and raining. We spoke to some of the organisers and were told that the plan was for people to sit outside in the stands (but you can't guarantee British weather). On top of this, the weekend members tickets were C£50 for the day, a pot of teas was £5 and a slice of plain madeira cake (which we did NOT buy) was £3. When speaking to the stall holders we were told that they have to pay so much for their stalls that they cannot make their prices any less. Mark Davies Injured Riders charity stall were given 10% off their stall but had to pay for their car-parking (it's a Charity for god's sake - they should get their pitch for nothing!) A very poor show indeed!

The showing entry fees are very expensive too. I know someone who has a stall at quite of few of the shows but has stopped going to Windsor.

Yes we've been for several years now and we noticed that quite a lot of the normal traders were no there which is a shame as a lot of people go for the shopping!
