So does anyone feed winergy energy? At present am feeding conditioning cubes but was thinking of changing. Are they really as good as what it says on the tin :P lol

thanks

Do you mean Winergy Equilibrium? If so I have fed the Low Energy, Condition and Medium Energy and found them all to be absolutely brilliant. Can't praise it highly enough.

I was part of the Winergy feeding trial and used Low energy for my horse who i thought really ought to be on the high energy! But it was fantastic, he has never looked or felt better and has a fantastic coat, is forward without his stupid spooking and i wont feed anything else now. Highly rate it :)

Sorry yes thats what i ment lol Was thinking of using the conditioning one ... Whats it like?
How long does a bag usually last a 16hh tb, he gets about 2kg of conditiong cubes and 1kg of Alfa A Oil per day. Also is it a chaffy feed or cubes etc?

It comes in 15kg bags (most other feed is 20kg bags) and is roughly £13 a bag depending on which one you get. It is a fibre feed so looks a bit like chaff/alfa with pellets in, actually if you look at the link on the H&H home page advertising their money off vouchers you can see what it looks like - all their adverts picture the feed.

I used the condition on my TB all last winter and she came through looking great on 3 scoops a day plus quality haylage. The scoops don't weigh much however because it's a fibre feed & nothing like nuts or a mix, each variation of the feed weighs differently but as a rough guide the big stubbs scoops hold just under 1kg of the conditioning one.

I personally wouldn't take too much notice of the recommended levels printed on the bag - firstly my horses would never eat that much and secondly it would be far too expensive. They do eat it very slowly so my TB could never work her way through 4.5 kgs of it!

At the moment my TB is on 1 heaped scoop of medium energy a day ( probably about 1kg) on her days off and 2 heaped scoops a day when worked. My cob x is on a level scoop of medium a day. Both are on a vitamin supplement until I increase the feed in the autumn. Wingery advised me that once they are fed 2kg of the feed a day they shouldn't need a supplement.
