Winergy equilibrium- balancer?

Hey,
was thinking of putting my very good doer horse on this come this winter but he is very very fussy but he likes the winergy low energy- is the new balancer the same type of feed like the low energy? i.e. lots of different cereals in and some stalky chaff like stuff in it?

Also, how much is it and does anyone know how much I would need to feed a 450kg horse of it?

If you go on their website and request some advice, they are really helpful, and get back to you very quickly - they will send you out a free sample too to see if your neddie will eat it.

I've been using this for a few weeks as it has £5 off, and for some reason my supplier is charging £11 a bag even though it should be £17!

It's pretty much like the rest of their feeds, so stalky with pellets in it. Mine eat it easily but I've never had a problem feeding them any of the range, I just can't get my poor doer to eat enough of it!

However what I will say is it doesn't have a pro or prebiotic in it which surprises me for a balancer and makes me wonder what else isn't in it. Also mine have to have 1kg each per day and at £22 a bag normal price this works out quite a bit more expensive than my usual Top Spec per month despite it seemingly not containing as many nutrients etc.

Thanks, I was feeding him d&h ultimate balancer but was shocked when i dound out how much protein was in it and he doesnt like the taste of it so leaves it a lot.
will have a looks at prices of it round here.

It's frightening when you look into some feeds isn't it!

I think normal price is £22 a bag but at the mo some bags have £5 off stickers on. They are 15kg bags.

They recommend that a 'pony' has 800g and a 'horse' has 1kg so it does work out more expensive than TopSpec for me but because I bought it because I like some of the other feeds they do.

However I did speak to them after buying it to ask about the pre/pro biotic as they never seem to put much on their website. It doesn't contain either and they seemed quite keen to stress it's for horses in light work so I"m wondering if it's not as comprehensive as some of the others on the market.
