Winergy Equilibrium feeds

fab, love the stuff! have 5 horses on it and they all look fab... The ones doing Riding club/intro work i add a little bit of oil to but the two intermediate/novice horses I add more oil (corn oil) again to it. They've been on the feed since Jan/Feb? Started them on it as have a warmblood that does ulcers quite badly.

Can't get over what a difference it has made to their behaviour, used to have hyped up silly horfses, now have very level headed horses who are much quieter, although still have plenty of energy and don't seem to get tired!

I have my two exracers on it and they are doing brilliantly - Darcy is case study 10 on the website - both are forward going but sane and have loads of useful energy and both have held their weight well over winter. I love the fact its a complete feed and you dont need to add anything.

Have had 4 friends all swap to it and they are seeing a good change in their horses too....

I changed my ex racer on to it due to it having a lot less starch than most others. What a difference, went out hacking today, JCB digger (which kept digging) killer pheasants, drainage pipes etc, not 1 spook, no stressiness. miss chilled out or what. Still responsive etc, just more laid back.
It is 9.90 or around that. My feed place didn't stock it either but now keep a couple of bags at a time for me.
Good idea to phone helpline, they will advise you what one is best, really helpful and friendly.

Its essentially made by Spillers so if your local shop stocks Spillers they will be able to get it for you.. The bags are around a £9/10.

I was advised to feed 3.5 kg a day, but my horses are too fat now so they only need 2kg each and I'll reduce it more in the summer - I've never ever had to cut their feed back for being too fat before, its brilliant!!!

I feed Winergy Growth and it's £10.75 a bag, the bags are 15kg so don't last that long.... but it's everything all in one so it works out around the same as chaff/cubes/supps etc

I've just put my new skinny lad onto it. No change the first week but he looks a bit rounder now.

How long before you all noticed a difference in behaviour? I've just put my 6 year old onto it to try to lessen his rather extreme (charge off bucking!) response to anything dangerous.

i have an ex racer on the winergy growth too and he is doing great. noticed a change in his behaviour after a coulpe of weeks, hes much more laid back and cheery! 2 months on he is in show condition and ive had to cut down the amount of food cos hes getting too fat! amazing stuff

Have started my tb on it, already noticed an even gleamier coat (which i didnt think was possible!) and his ribs are slightly less showing already (3 weeks on) brilliant stuff. although you do have to feed quite a lot initially but hopefully will be able to drop the amount when he fills out

i have never heard anyone say a bad thing about it except it is expensive, when it is actually cheaper for me to feed a complete feed

Now that we have cut the amount of Winergy down I bulk it out a bit with Ultra Grass, while I was feeding the max amount though we fed 100% Winergy...

Hi have just read your note about Winergy Equilibrium I am thinking of changing my 7/8th TB mare on to it. What else would I need to feed with it. She works every day (weather permitting!) and competes dressage and jumping at weekends so medium work really. At the moment she is on Baileys No 17 Alfa A Chaff soya oil and sugar beet. I need to keep weight on her when competing as she gets hyped up in the yard before a show and dungs a lot on the yard. She is ok at the shows but by the end of the day she runs up a bit light. Shall I just change the No 17 to Winergy Equilibrium medium and still give alfa a and oil and sugar beet or what do you recommend.

Trot345 - Winergy is a complete feed so you dont need to feed anything else with it. My gelding used to be on alfa a, calm and condition and fibre beet but we still struggled to keep weight on him and give him enough energy. We swapped his feed over to 3kg (roughly 3 round scoops) of just Winergy a day instead. When you see Winergy its like a pre-mixed feed, it has lots of different ingredients all pre mixed so you literally put it in a feed bowl and add some water and thats it! No need to add any other feeds or supplements.....

*This is my first time using the forum so sorry if I do something wrong*

I event my horsey at novice level, hopefully we will move up to intermediate this year. But she tends to do projectile sloppy poo's until she physically can't do anymore- literally a full up tub trug of crap! This is obv. not good for her- do you think Winergy could help- she is also fussy eater!

Not sure if this thread is still relevant but the feed trial advertised by HHO on here, thread at the top, is a Winergy Equilibrium conditioner I believe.
