Just wonder if any of you guys have used this and how your horse has got on with it.

I was looking for a feed with just a bit more umph than my current combination so gave it a try.

After just a couple of weeks, and not on even on full quantity, I've taken her off it - even my trainer said put her back on her old feed. It sent her over the top - spooking, napping, spending entire lessons arguing about doing anything! She is an opinionated mare, but then aren't most mares, but nothing like this - Wingery speel said it would help keep your horse calm etc. they hadn't bargined on Nessie!

Never tried the low but feed the growth to foals which is excellent and am also trialling the condition on a horse that gets very stressy in the stable and have to say i have never seen her as relaxed and eating as well.

We use this feed on our yard and all of our horses and ponies are on it. We have a laminitic pony on it, a couple of eventers, hunters and some dressage horses... all personalities are different and have found this feed works the best for them. It's certainly put a fantastic shine on my horse!

All my four are on it, from a 3 year old to 13 year old, and never had any problems. In fact my new horse is on it to build him up slowly to put some weight on him as I don't beleive in feeding high energy just to put weight on and the only thing they get as well is carrots in their feed at night and they all eat up and lick their feed troughs out.

I've had my horse on it for nearly two years. He looks fantastic, consistent weight and wonderful shine to his coat, and his temperament is (mostly!) settled. He was in much harder work for a while in the summer so I mixed in some of the medium energy which just gave him a bit more sparkle. I'm really pleased with it.

My mare is on the medium energy and doing really well on it! No probs at all (touch wood!).
Could it be the alfalfa in it that she's intolerant to? Has she had alfalfa before?

I was lucky enough to have my feed sponsored by them. All my horses are on it ....bar one!! For one TB he was so wild on it i ended up in hospital twice in a week! No idea what it was that set him off but he had to be such large amounts that was probably part of the problem! back onto his top spec blancer and high fibre cubes and totally back to normal!

Just goes to show every horse is different!!

My Horse is on the Conditioning and I can honestly say he has gone from being a bit bonkers to a Saint.
Kids at the yard having a lesson asked why is that horse so shiny!! Its because of his feed as he hardly ever has a bath and is very tickly so has a low grooming regime!!

That's really interesting, I'm a bit of a feed nerd so have to ask...what was she on previously?

Prior to trying this she was on Allen & Page Ride & Relax + Dengie HiFi. Which is what I've reverted to. She is turned out for approx 12hrs/day and has 2/3 slices of hay with evening feed. I guess its a case of there's always one who will be the exception.

Sounds as if you're in my feed barn! That's exactly what Darcy is fed. Love the R&R mix and it's made such a difference to him. I keep getting tempted to change feed to something a bit more conditioning but I know I never will

I'm not looking for excuses. I spoke to the feed people at Winergy and told them what she was like and on the basis of their response I gave it a try. It didn't work out. I was just interested to see what others had found

I think she means as in she got sucked into "feeling the need to change or try something new ," as I was saying I sometimes get ...

Thanks DarcyLu I was just looking to see if there was maybe something different which worked as well or better than what I was already doing and came as one mix rather than two.

I have had my TB mare on this (conditioning one)for approx 8 weeks now and the difference in her is amazing she is clamer, gaining weight well and her coat is amazing
