Hi, do those of you who feed Winergy Equilibrium feed anything else alongside it?

Also can anyone give me a list of ingredients in Condition please.

I have fed it in the past but my TB won't eat enough of it to maintain weight over winter. I'm thinking of trying again and adding Baileys Outshine but I think it's going to get quite expensive

Thank you

I have a friend who feeds it with a bit of speedibeet and pink powder.

I'd give them a call or email them as they are very helpful usually :)

I've had our pony on the high energy for about a year. I don't feed anything else at all with it. Can't help with the ingredients of condition sorry!! xx

Winergy Equilibrium is a brand name, which one of their products are you feeding, they do several different bags of feed, their names all start with Equilibrium.

Ingredients for Winergy Equilibrium Condition are:

Wheatfeed, Dried lucerne (alfalfa), Grass nuts, Wheat, Soya Hulls, Timothy, Hi Pro soya, Soya oil, Molasses, Sunflower extract, Calcium carbonate, vegetable oil, Salt, Vitamin and mineral premix, Di-calcium phosphate, garlic calcined magnesite, dried mint, lysine .

My horse was on the trial for the condition version - certainly added condition onto him, but as you can see from the ingredients, you can easily recreate the feed yourself without the price tag! Mine was fed alfa a, alfalfa nuts, redi grass and micronised linseed with a powder balancer.

friends 16.1hh gets 1scoop of condition and 1 scoop alfa beet twice a day. with ad lib haylage. He had been on lots of different feeds but this combo works the best for him

Thanks everyone, especially TGM - that's a great help.

I've phoned them on a few occasions as I've had both mine on varying versions but I couldn't get an answer when I tried this morning.

I've tried it TGM, well I tried Working during the summer. Both of mine ate it for a week or so and then went off it. My fussy cob x stopped eating it completely which is rare as she eats anything that lands in front of her!

The Winergy Medium suits her well but my TB can't have too much starch and needs extra calories during winter so the medium is no good for her. The TB will only eat 1 scoop of Winergy Condition at a sitting which isn't enough to maintain weight even when fed 3 times a day, so I do need to add something to it.

I've now got her on TopChop, Just Grass, TopSpec Cool Condition Cubes, TopSpec and Outshine and she will eat this combination but I have a real storage problem and as both forages come in bulky bags I'm struggling to store it. It's also costing a fortune and isn't giving my cob x enough oomph - she needs slightly more cereal/starch and at 14% starch the Medium Winergy seems about right for her so she is on that.

I thought it would be easier & solve my storage issue if I just had the 2 types of Equilibrium and Outshine but it's looking more & more likely that I will have to add beet to the TBs.

I loved the look and feel of Pure Feeds but for some reason they went off it very quickly
