didnt get much response before thought id try again just in case, anyone use them?i was reccommended the 'growth'. very fizzy skinny horse who is on heaps of feed at the minute-making him hyper. at full ration it would be cheaper than what he is on at the mo. any feedback very appreciated

I'm not sure that it is designed to put what I'd call serious weight on, being low is starch which is good of course, but may not help with weight gain.

I'm using it for a mare that has ample weight, but would look at other things for weight gain.

I feed my young t/b mare the Growth, and its very good feed, The company tells you not to add any other feed stuff to their feed, as no need! but i do i use Baileys "out shine" as a poor doer in the winter months and her weight has stayed on lovely coat no fizzy and her temperament is great. as we start to move out of the winter months i shall then use the "Low" as and when i have too.

I have two skinny exracers on it and they are looking great IMO. They are fed nothing but 3kg of Winergy a day with hay morning and evening, no balancers or vits or anything, both are clipped and in work 4-5 times a week. Its the first winter I have not had to worry about dropping weight... I am really really pleased with it. I have one on med energy as he needs a bit of oomph and one on low energy because she doesnt need oomph!!!

I would definately recommend giving it a go.....

Can't recommend it enough, have four on it, two TB's one that suffers with tying up and also needed to weight gain, of which we have acheived with winergy, I used the growth and senior together for her to start with, then changed her on to low energy and have my other TB and a Welsh D x TB on it, the old boy is on senior and they look great, the old boy looks so well I am chuffed to bits with him. If you look on the website it will give you some really good advice and also I'm case study 3.

thanks guys i was hoping i would get good feedback because it looks really good!!right must go see if my stockist supplies it

Last year due to a problem with my mares sacroilliac joint, she lost loads of weight and muscle. I was recommended to try Winergy Equilibrium Growth (even though my mare is 12), as it would help her replace all the muscle and weight she had lost. As she is a naturally lightweight Arab, Winergy recommended she stay on the Growth, and I have been feeding it ever since. She has managed to keep weight and muscle on this year, and does really well on this feed. I really love that it is a complete feed and I don't have to mess around adding different ingredients. Definately recommend!!

Growth will almost definately help your horse maintain/put on weight Geegee...they recommended it to my crazy mare who never holds her weight. She's not only maintained weight this winter, but its also made her a lot calmer! Fab! Try it!!!!

I tried it for mine, but it didn't seem to put any weight on her. Plus she didnt really like it tha much - often left some in the bucket.
