Winston had a little accident and insurance question

Hello,
Last week whilst Winston was on the farm he somehow managed to stab himself with a nail??? which went under his skin and out another hole, lovely! After quick rush to vets and three stitches and a slightly sleepy doggy all well apart froma demon cone on his head. Spaniel + cone = chaos! COne is now very nearly dead due to Winston running into everything particularily people with it especially the backs of my knees!
ANyhow we went to the vets tonight to get stitches out and to settle bill. Now insurance excess is £75 and there was about £40 left. Now is this worth claiming or will it up my excess?

For that small (well fairly small) amount I wouldn't claim personally.Not an expert but would guess it will increase your premiums.

Don't think I'd bother for that amount - whenever I have claimed they put an exclusion in for next time (although your's is a more 'general' type of accident unless you have the type of cover that allows reoccurance of same injury that you can get now.
