Has anybody had any experience with one of these? I need a new girth and can get one in the right size, nearly new for £25. Should I bite their hand off? Or stay well away?

On one of my horses with a round belly it is very unstable. On another with a slight groove up the centre of his belly, it makes the saddle more stable. I wouldn't say either horse moves better in it.

I had one and it rubbed my mares elbows as it were red raw, changed to a professional choice which is lovely. Wouldn't go back. The wintec cair girths were £125 originally but have now seem them for as little as £20 which makes me wonder why.

I didnt go for the cair in the end! Went with a Wintec Elastic (the ones with elastic all the way through).

EquestrianFairy - I dont remember which one! you will have to nudge me again... I;ve met so many people the last few days everybody is blending into one, im so sorry!! :(

PS had a change in username in case anyone is wondering who I am now!

I don't like the Cair girths but I do swear by Wintec elastic girths. I have the one without elastic at the end but elastic throughout the girth. They are fantastic - my saddle fitter recommends them too. Old horse could be very girthy but he never complained about these.
