hi, just a curiosity question- does anyone think that a wintec gullet plate could be bent to widen/narrow the fit? it is after all just a piece of steel!

I would worry that it would weaken the metal? Might be wrong...

Working for a company that makes car parts I have learned that there are different types of steel and not all lend well to being worked especially if they have been treated/hardened in any way
I wouldn't try it but if you know anyone who works with metal get them to have a look
Is it for one of those adjustable gullet saddles? If so my guess is that the metal may not be ok to work as they wouldn't do them in so many sizes at a high price!

Hi, you can bend them but I'd only do it once and by someone who has done it before. I've my adjustable saddle gullet plates customised to fit my horse as the standard fit wasn't quite right

I agree that it's not something you should consider, and of course it will invalidate any warranty.
