wintec pro webbers

i have just got some wintec pro webbers (the ones with suede on one side) as my normal stirrup leathers have been pinching me so badly!!

I have just been told that i should not use them on my leather saddle as they will ruin it. Are they ok to use? Does anyone else use these with a leather saddle?

They do rub a bit - if you rub synthetic on leather for as much time as you'll be riding in the next year, I think the leather will come out worse off. Not much worse than the general wear you get from normal leather leathers, though... surely? I've used my Wintec Webbers on synthetic saddles for years, I love them.

You can use leather leathers on synthetic saddle but not the other way round . The synthetic leathers will be too harsh on a leather saddle.
