not at all, you can use wintecs and some are very good now, they do not look like cheap plastic things they did years ago, an isabella wintec is supposed to be good. I would not worry about the tack at shows, I have seen riders with the best of stuff but their performance and riding is dier, the tack does not make the rider/horse. I am sure no one will think bad about it, if they do they are shallow premadonnas and not worth worrying about.
Buy what you can afford and go out and enjoy yourself.
best of luck

as person above has said.. you wont look like the poor relation with a Wintec (esp. the Isabell) some of them look very smart...

However, on another matter...

I HATE them, the did NOTHING for my riding!!
I'm sure there's lots of people out there who love them tho!!

i don't intend to do high level dressage, or even affiliate for that matter, but after riding my tb in a borrowed wintec isabell, ive decided to get her one. I like the idea of being able to change the gullets, so i can also use it on my other horse, who is slightly wider than my tb. Also, i think they're really good value for money.
Im not really a fan of synthetic saddles and have never owned one before, but i really liked the isabell.

MdM is so right my people have a wintec isabelle and it is vile. Frankly cant believe the girl bought it! Now she has a proper saddle for the other one she is noticing the difference! Frankly you would be better buying a good second hand leather one.

Think they can look the part but to be honest I can't stand them. Personal prefernce though can you try before you buy?
