With the weather outside being quite frankly crap, lets have a thread of things you couldn't survive winter without and any tips for those feeling the cold!
Mine is my Sealskinz socks, they have completely transformed my feet from hard numb ice blocks in to toasty little beings that work fairly normally. If anyone on here suffers from LBS (leaky boot syndrome) I can't praise them highly enough as make walking round the yard more bareable! I also have just discovered the Uniqlo range of thermals (heat tech) and yes they work and I have the whole outfit on under my yard gear so am toasty top to toe. Much better than a conventional thermal vest!

This year I am going to buy a set of padded, waterproof overalls, that can live attached to my wellies so for winter mucking out all I have to do is walk downstairs in a t shirt, step into wellies and put up clothes.

Lazy? Perhaps! I'm hoping this will make winter mornings/evenings far more pleasant. :)

Maybe I'll call it the fireman's exit?! :D

For my horse, The new PE rug I have bought him, he looks so snug in it I want to get in there  :D

Snuggy hood!!!! Oh and also my wonderful mother who gets my horse in during the week as I don't get in until 6pm when it is dark, cold and my mare would NOT be impressed with being the last one out there!
