Its only just september, and Roo feels like a teddy bear!
She doesn't look like her coat is any thicker. But when you stroke her its just completely different to how it was about a week ago.
Does anyone elses horse have a winter coat coming through?
Should I put a rug on her?
I'm sure it took longer last year :S

Yep Dougs is coming through thick and fast. I like his winter coat though

My old lady is fluffing up. I don't clip her though as she really, really hates it and she is only in light work. I quite like the au natural teddy bear look.

Mine has gone fluffy incredibly fast, over the last three days. I love her winter coat; its really soft and dense and a really dark shiny bronze colour. I don't clip either

Mine has started to fluff up, I hate her winter coat, makes her look like a straggler

Nope no rugging yet, will make her last without it for quite a while yet unless we get severe cold weather

Ours have been going fluffy for a couple of weeks now, but today Missy was really woolly looking, both have teddy bear seams under their bellies. lol. Gonna start rugging them lightly when we get them out the loft and only when it's due to be pretty chilly.
