Winter fuzz already... when to clip?

All of mine have half their winter coat already but feels way too early to clip!

When is everyone else planning on clipping? Is it bad to clip when their winter coat is still coming through?

I clip in October very earliest usually mid! I like for most of it to come through & not to prolong the hassle of rugging etc for myself or my horse. I can deal with a little sweat for a few weeks!

first clip already done as horse was sweating up when ridden so of it came better of the then sweating and getting a chill
