Winter hose pipe misery. Look what I have found

Wow! Can u get these in the UK?

I have no idea :( Although I can't see why not, although I can't see why heated water troughs and buckets are not readily available either and they aren't  Stupid.

Will do some looking into this.

I was terribly sceptical when I saw them, ummed and ahhed, parted with some dosh and really, for once, this is a gadget that works. I can't say if it would stand up to daily use for months/years yet but it seems sturdy enough and if it saves me having to roll, drain, drag and store pipes through winter then it will be a godsend.

Looks amazing but has had very mixed reviews in terms of robustness as prone to bursting. Apparently 50' is fine, but the adapters required when you want more than 50' i.e. 100' is 2 x 50' are really pants quality and leak/break.

How much is P&P from the US? May just get someone to bring it over for me.

I haven't found that - yet - but then they have only been in daily use for 2 weeks. We put our own joints on them rather than use the plastic things they come with. Realistically I do not expect them to be very long lived when they will be used in -15 for months on end, they are designed for surburban garden use, but, with a frozen shoulder and a knackered back to boot anything that means I do not have to lift is worth the money for me.

Can't help on the exact shipping costs but they weigh 1lb (50' length) from Canada to UK that is --------> Small packet, about $20 +/- Express is $174!!!!!!!!!!

Have looked into them and they aren't shipping to UK yet :( Hope you get shoulder/back sorted soon.

Oh my god, I don't think I like it, it's like an EXPANDING SNAKE :-O

The ducks are terrified of it, the cats and kittens leap on it and try to wrestle with it. The foal that saw it last night did a momentary "" and stuck his head back in his bucket again.
