winter Jackets-early i know but need to sort

has anyone had a Musto combination jacket or a Mountain horse body gaurd jacket and can give views. I have a youngster which isw why i thought body guard jacket, however i already wear body protector so not sure if it would be too much and uncomfortable. Musto combination looks good or any other suggestions welcome. Must be very warm and fully waterproof but dont want to end up buying about 3 diff jackets.

I have had both Musto and Mountain Horse (not the body protector one though) jackets and I much prefered the Musto. It's years old now, been ripped, mended, thrown in the washing machine etc... and is still waterproof. I have bought another the same in a different colour for riding and use the old one for the mucky jobs.
