Winter on positive note......

*There is only 7 weeks to go and the nights start getting lighter
*Seeing your horse happily munching hay, all snug and warm in his rug and freshly banked stable is incredibly satisfying.
* getting home, bathed and settled in the warm is lovley
* Christmas and wulled wine

Winter has it's good points

In my world the good points to winter are no midgie's therefore no midgie bites and no wasps (i am petrified of wasps! lol)

I do also like it when we get an extreme amount of snow and everything just looks amazing even though it then makes it a pain to muck out.

Yes I always say role on the 21st !! Trying to be strong and to date not brought my girl in, its sold mild down here, mind you we should have rain tonight and I will be feeling very guilty bad mummy lol, have to say today she really did not seem that pleased to be going out. Gave her an apple at the gate, she normally eats it and sods off !! but today she just stayed with me for ages and made me feel really bad.

im also one that likes winter, love seeing the ponies play when it snows for the first time, and when they come running to me from far away (only cos they know i have food but still! lol) also love taking soup and hot choc to the yard in my thermo mug lol
