Just being nosey really and was wondering in winter if the darker evenings and mornings effects how often you are able to exercise your horse?

Well I start work at 4 -5am so my hubby either turns out or does hay/water/feed by 7am, (doesn't muck out)! I get in at 1 -2pm so am free to ride every day and turn out those who are in etc. My lot are all done, fed and tucked up in bed by 4.30 in the winter!

I go to the yard early and ride in the flood lit school. but I finish work at 1 pm two days aweek and not at all on fridays, so if my bed keeps me hostage I can ride certainly 3 afternoons a week.So I guess I'm quite lucky.!

Its alright for some. I will just be a weekend rider soon, although I can finish early one day a week so I may get a ride midweek. I don't have a menege or school however so once the field gets muddy there will be no schooling either. Roll on next spring!
