hi everyone, just wondering what you think are the best winter wellies for my partner up at the stables as he spends as much time up there as me, need warm ones as we are up on the moors
ROK are brill - neoprene lined super warm very hardwearing and on offer at wellington&barrow (google them) I got mine for £32 plus postage - my pops loved the look of mine and father christmas brought him a pair early!! - My wellies are fab with all this rain ,my feet hve been toasty warm and dry!!
I hAve my fingers crossed they will keep my toes warm in the field this winter! I have worn out my Muckboots, and since they only lasted a year, I thought I'd try a different approach, so am going for waterproof short boots with chaps for riding, and the neoprene wellies for wading through the mud.
I have some ancient, pre dodgy quality, hunters still going strong. And a pair of cheapo ones from a discount shoe shop that serve their purpose. I'd pay a lot for any that were as good as hunters used to be, but if they aren't going to last don't see the point in paying more than a tenner.
