Some experienced personal opinions needed please! Hate to say it but winter is drawing closer and after getting vaguely wet this morning, started me thinking about waterproof thermal/padded trousers and mid calf boots...:o
Whats anyones experience of dublins trousers and woof wears boots ( the ones with straps around the leg to do up)??? Any experiences of the toggi hudsons compared to the toggi columbus boots?
Any info appreciated :o

My Toggi Hudsons have just started to wear out (soles getting uneven) after over three years of solid use, and I am in mourning for them. I can't afford another pair yet, but will buy some as soon as I can (offers on ebay). In the meantime I am going to keep using them, as they still look very smart.

They are just so comfortable, so hard wearing, good for yard, good for riding, and extremely waterproof ( even now

Thought you were talking about horses winter coats - mine is getting his in already, poor lad was sweating in nearly 30 degrees yesterday. Perhaps he knows something the others don't

For myself I am, a real fan of overalls, just bog standard heavy cotton ones over normal cloths, or with a fleece if its really cold, no gaps to let the cold air in.

Heehee Magicmillbrook :) They are starting to get their winter woollies too....Thanks for replies, looking at the toggis and a dublin over trouser...now to find the money! :)

I have bought ski trousers from tkmax. They have fleece inside and waterproof outer and they have been fab for 3 yrs so far. Wouldn't want to do a winter without them, cheap too :)
