any good weather men about on here who know what winter we are in for.

It's dry here (Wilts) and meant to be for at least two weeks according to the MetCheck website - although the long forecast tends to be inaccurate and change every five minutes. According to that though, it's going to be dry and very cold from now until the weekend, rain a little on Sunday morning when I have my riding lesson booked (

) and then be dry again. It's going to warm up for Christmas though

As long as it stays a bit drier, I don't mind though!

During the autumn they were saying it was going to be very cold this winter. Something to do with bird migration.

In Suffolk all we keep hearing is that it is going to be a really long, cold winter and we are going to have terrible storms around Christmas. Apparently the Siberian pink footed geese have come over in droves and that normally means that they are escaping bad weather, which will eventually get here????

Personally, I don't take much notice as we were meant to get a very hot summer, and somehow, that didn't happen! GOing to be dry, cold, calm and sunny this week here. Hooray.
