Tonight - found the pony shivering in the rain in his lightweight turnout, Bomber was wet and cold and keen for food

SOOO - they have had their first big bale of haylage for the year, pony has been put in a heavy weight turnout with neck just for the night and bomber is indoors drying off. There are also 4 wet rugs to dry where I tried putting a fleece under a lightweight turnout for both of them first

Its amazing how quickly you forget all this in summer isn't it?

Rather than my pony shivering in the rain (she stayed in today because she sulked when she went out in the rain) it was me while I was running up and down the drive to the muck heap!
