As she has limited time why dont they put her into one of their foster homes, thats what a lot of rescues do.

Have to say I agree with you . Dogs live for the present , she looks very happy where she is , any change of home would be unsettling for her , and I sadly know from experience that dogs with cancer can go from loving life to collapse in 24 hours .

Cause sad stories create donations. So they would rather exploit her.
