Following my spectatcular exit from Luca during a saddle fitting two weeks ago the saddler is coming back again tonight to refit the saddle tonight and I will be getting back on for the first time!!

I am armed with a new (and correctly fitting) hat and body protector and some dutch courage. I'm off the crutches and only have a slight limp now (though my knee does still look like its gone several rounds with Mike Tyson despite lots of arnica!). Lu has had his feed reduced and a calmer added to take of the edge and this time we will be using a thin saddle cloth and his girth guard so fingers crossed all goes well...

A nice G&T for all (make mine a double). Wish me luck and send me some good old strong vibes please guys - don't fancy another night in A&E!!!!

I've got the saddle fitter coming tomorrow, but at least I only need to fear for my bank balance!

Thanks MrsM... I know I should trust him (and the saddler) but all this sunshine and no shorts or skirts for me - i think purple and yellow knees were last seasons trend!!

Its the waiting before thats worse... Quick question - the saddler has offered to ride him first for me - where would i stand legally if I let him do so? I'm not sure its a good idea but I have limited mobility atm.
