Got the vet coming out this afternoon to scan my 3 year old New Forest filly..........to find out if she is pregnant, or how far on if she is.
It should never have happened, and I've moved her away from the yard where the YO's entire WARMBLOOD cross colts were getting in with our mares.
I'm pretty annoyed about the whole thing. It's a long story but I feel very let down by the EX yard owner for failing to keep my pony safe while on grass livery at her yard.
Now, I have to do what's best for my pony and deal with the outcome of her scan. It might be too late to abort.
