Please wish us luck.
Tomorrow Cobbus goes back to Horsepital after 14 weeks box rest for a damaged hind suspensory tendon.
Cobbus has been an absolute angel about his box rest so crossing just about everything that he comes right and can come back into work
Then Monday is D-Day for Lenny, he was retired to a field 3 years ago, aged 7, as we could not keep him sound (15k in investigations and treatment without results) unfortunately he has gone very lame in the last couple of days. Ive been asked to go look at him and meet the vet (he is the other side of the country to me) to decide how we go forwards but I really don’t see how we can go forward given his laundry list of health problems (arthritis of the spine, SI problems, arthritis of the hocks, undiagnosed stifle problem amongst others). Im not willing to put him through any major vet interventions, he will not box rest and he is in pain, im just scared that the vet will talk me out of it (Not the same vets as the ones who did the original investigations)
