...Della and I tootled off to test her (relatively) newly shoeless back feet and her post-winter fitness. Ozlworth (yes, that's actually it's name!) is not a fun ride I've done before nor a location I've visitied so we very much arrived 'blind' but with high hopes given the uncharacteristic arrival of the yellow thing in the sky! We successfully met up with our fun ride buddy and just WOW! The scenery was amazing, the organisation was great (love a ride with clear signage and a juice and biscuit break!) and the amount of hills we were able to canter up has certainly earned D a couple of days in the field! Given that it's the first ride of this length she's done this year (13miles) we took it nice and easy but both horses finished fresh so hopefully we'll be looking at doing out first endurance ride mid May in the Forest of Dean :D

Hopefully you all got a chance to enjoy the sun too :)
