Witney Blankets

I have seen people at shows with Witney style blankets in different colours to the traditional ones. Seen blue and green ones.

Any idea where I can buy theses from - can't seem to find anything through google!

They are the Rambo ones, not proper wool but still very nice!

Hi. No its not the Rambo ones I'm looking for. I have seem some proper wool blankets - striped the same as a traditional Witney, but in different colours.

Bizarre, not seen ones like the ones you describe, just the Rambo rip offs and considering where I live I thought I would have seen them!

I have a very heavy 100% wool blanket with a leather buckle fastening at the front. Its white with thick black stripes across the bottom. I picked it up from eBay but sadly too small for my mare
Have a look on eBay, seems to be a few on there

Equi Theme do a selection of striped fleece exercise sheets in blues, greens, browns and purples (see Equestrian Clearance website) They are not wool though. Pessoa also do a lovely one, but not in a vast selection of colour ways.

I have a purple with yellow trim woollen one with the leather buckle it's a lovely rug but I've never used it! It's rather heavy and don't fancy removing all the stray hairs after use! Sadly I can't remember where I got it
