i bought a 2yr old sec d x of a friend a couple of weeks ago.he is gorgeous, g8 temp, loves being cuddled and messed with.Any, last week he had a bit of a fall(he slipped on the wet mud ) he was ok, just a bit sore for a day or two.i got the blacksmith out 2day as he needed his front feet trimming badly.he went to pull his foot away from the blacksmith and fell clean over with a thud.he didnt rear or anything,he just fell over.anyway he couldnt get up straight away (took him 3or 4 attempts ) i new he wasnt rite so i called the vet out ( Here is the shitty bit ) vet gave him a really thorough examination, and told me he has wobble syndrome. He told me he will never be able to be ridden, and all he is good for now is a companion horse.Who is going to take him on as a companion horse with this problem.luckily my friend is going to take him back. i wished i had had him vetted now, but o well. the vet told me if i had had him vetted he would have told me to stear clear.im gutted. i love that horse but i cant afford an ornament. ive cryed all day im so upset about it. i feel better getting it of my chest, so thankyou for reading this... x x
