Woman hit by car on Abbey Road crossing *Warning, video link*

It's in the news because of the number of views online, and yes probably because there's little other "shocking" news to dwell on... Is it right to put this online without the knowledge and consent of the woman and driver involved? Do they really need to be reminded of the incident? I doubt it, and likewise very poor taste for other families who mourn over someone lost/injured though similar incidents. The only benefit is if it stops people taking unnecessary risks on road crossings.

she was stupid and lucky from what that video shows, but I am shocked by the fact no-one stops the traffic, people seem to just be standing around her, no-one covers her to keep her warm and prevent shock, no-one immobilises her neck-also the parents with the young kids that dont come to help-what does that teach our youngsters?

To be fair if I had young kids I wouldn't want to leave them at the side of the road to go and help, nor would I want them to see the injured woman.
