Wonderboy III

For the benefit of those enthusiasts who were not able to watch Donaueschingen yesterday, the lovely and very promising grey gelding Wonderboy III is now being ridden by Ben Maher. He's been bought by Ben and Mike Phillips. Start list and announcer gave his age as 8 whereas it's actually 9. With unusual lack of efficiency for the Germans, they had the wrong FEI registration no. for him - it was that of Wonderboy V, a 5-year-old!

So Georgie has lost the ride on her two best horses this year then. Little Lefanie is being ridden by Geoff Luckett now i see.

Anything going on there ?

Yes, it's a great shame in my opinion, but of course "money talks". I hear that she now has the ride on Alfredo, and has some promising youngsters to produce.

Georgie gave Little Lefanie back to her owners last year - her choice. Regarding Wonderboy, as SJFAN said 'money talks' and Georgie has some very promising youngsters to produce. Sad about Wonderboy but he is in very capable hands and I am sure will do very well with Ben.
