Harley was taken to hospital last week aged 6 days (we thought he had joint i'll) but it turns out that the joints in the knees are the problem, one side is growing faster than the other, causing his legs to grow wonky, (they did xrays and scans)
They have done 'shockwave' treatment on him (last weds) and they are going to repeat treatment on friday, then he can come home, they are hoping to see some change within 2-3weeks.
The shockwaves are supposed to slow down the fast growing side. so the legs even up.
Has anyone had experience with this, what treatment did they have? what was the outcome??

ps he is an appaloosa, who was 10 days late.
