My naughty little boy loves his food but any time I've had to put any anti b's or supplements in it he refuses to eat it!

I'm trying to give him rigcalm at the moment and he's refusing to eat it, anyone got any suggestions on how to get him to eat it? I've mixed garlic in and he just kicked the bucket!

I had this problem recently as the gelding needed to have antibiotics and he normally wont eat his feed with them mixed in. However I grated an apple and a carrot and mixed it in too and he ate the whole lot. :D

After a week or so I got her eating garlic mixed in, it was her only option! Lol! She is a good doer who has plenty of hay so she wasn't going hungry with out it! Now I need her to take it with Supplements too! I'll just persevere and see if she will accept it like just the garlic!

ill give the apple and carrot grating a go tomorrow! I wouldnt mind if he came in a night and i could leave it for him to pick at but hes out with my mare and she'd have it if I left it out and i dread to think what rigcalm would do to a mare hehe!

I mix in a bit of cinnamon to hide any unusual smells, or give it a splash of apple juice if I really need him to eat it! Faracat's grating suggestion has worked well for us too.
