Ok, so following on from my "how to convince my partner..." thread. He has finally "agreed" to me buying a horse! We had a chat this week, and I explained how this is something I need to do for me (and my sanity!) and of course fluttered my eye lashes!

So the next few months will be spent saving money, and pretty much ebaying anything I no longer use or need, and then the hunt will begin!

So excited, I feel like a little kid at Christmas!

Well, I am after 15hh no more than 16hh, Irish type, but open to breeding really. Would like a 5 or 6 yrs old and I love unusual colours so coloureds and appaloosas are at the top of the list but again open to anything! I can't help but look now, and already found two beautiful appaloosa mares!

I know a fantastic youngster connemara, dapple grey gelding about 15'1 I think. Nice showing/wh/competition type :) Pm if interested

Woohoo! How exciting! I set out looking for a cob type as I wanted something bulky and really wanted a coloured too but ended up falling in love with Bella who is a chestnut Arab lol! Never thought I'd end up buying an Arab but so glad I did.

I don't think that either of these are quite right for you, but here's some photos of a couple of nice horses anyway. :p

Younger than you want (three year old) but an intersting cross. :)

This one is in the geldings section, but the advert doesn't give his age (been broken and then turned away) or height, but he's smart so maybe worth emailing?

Faracat - I am loving the first one, differently a bit of me! I don't mind a youngster just as long as its backed, even if its been turned away and ready to bring on now. I have a great instructor who says I would cope with a youngster and is happy to help, plus plenty of people on the yard to help.
