OOh, where in Kent are you? My friend at work keeps moaning about the trouble I have had getting in on the train - lets hope the snow is near where she lives!
i'm around SE London, a lot of steady falling snow, and unfortunately it looks like there's more to come, which means I may not be able to go for my riding in Kent tomorrow
well its been snowing here again since lunch started as sleet...then quickly turned and its still going strong laying on top of what we had thursday and the ice so I have managed to get my mare sorted out for the night thank god...even though its goin to cost me a bit....rather she was done than me not get there.
Maybe, I havn't had a white christmas since I was about 2 so I won't be complaining. Although, if the yard is icy it will break my tradition of riding on christmas.
I'm in South Lincs and we have quite a few inches on the ground, and the sky has been looking full of more snow all day, which is meant to fall tonight I think. I love the snow, it's the ice that's getting on my nerves!
Started snowing hard about an hour ago when I was going from Gravesend to Wilmington (nr. Dartford). It's stopped now, although our road doesn't seem to have been gritted and it's settled!
Brighton is still clear thank god. All our snow turned to ice and i have just spent the past 3 hours with a shovel trying to break it up so people can drive up and down my sleep hill. We have had a piece of rope tied to the top lamp-post so people can lower themselves down/drag up!! I really can't handle a repeat!! Frozen fingers crossed we don't get it!
