Yay!!!

Contrary to what I was told after the initial examination, Rob has not done his tendon, he's just had a cut which swelled the whole leg up :D :D :D

Got him scanned today, and the tendon looks lovely :)

I've never been so happy to have a vet tell me he was wrong!!!!

I've *nearly* got my horsey back :D :D :D

That is good news. Hopefuly he'll be back to his old self soon.
It's lovely when the vets are wrong. Once the vet thought Lucy had broken her leg :( But then we descovered the biggest foot abcess the vet had ever seen :D I've never been so happy to see puss coming out of a ponys foot in my life so I know how you feel :)

Haha thats great news!! I had that at the beggining of summer last year when I was told vet is 99% sure my horse has navicular and when they took the shoes off she saw it was just the worst case of collapsed heels she had ever seen ;)! Oh and they thought he had kissing spine when it turns out its the ligament which is treated well with steroids - its great to find out your horse is not as broken as you think isnt it!!

It was the same vet, he came back to scan to see how bad the *tendon* damage was :)

He broke his knees 6 months ago, and I nearly lost him for another 6 months/ 1 year- I'm so pleased I haven't :D

Ouch at the navicular and broken legs- how pleased must you two have been that they were wrong!!!

Ah, you must be over the moon.:) Tendon injuries are absolute bathplugs, I know I have one myself and it hasn't healed in 6 months despite massive amounts of physio and 3 steroid injections. Phew!!! Go get a glass/bottle of vino - celebrate;)
