wood chewing

what do you use to stop horse chewing wood just moved stables and my girl has never had access to wood and is chewing the wood round the stable, yard owner not happy!!!
so what can i do any advice please

Mix 1 tin powdered mustard with a litre of vinegar and then 5 litres of water.

Paint liberally over wood. He wont do it again!
