I am absolutely loving my pellet beds after a not so great introduction to a certain brand! Now changed to 5* and it's brilliant.
Apart from the fact I am getting tiny tiny blims of poo left behind. Too small to pick up with my shavings fork. It's really irritating me!
I could pick them out with my hands I guess but you can't really see them til
you stand back and look!
I'm using the classic red handle Fynalite fork and struggle a bit for some reason with other brands as I have slightly arthritic hand joints.
Anyone got a proper pellet fork? I'm wondering if they are worth the money

i've got one - and it was brilliant when I had pellet beds. It MIGHT be looking for a new home ;-)

We use a garden sieve from B&Q (or somewhere like that) it was about £8 or so. When we take the wet out, we pile the rest of the bed against the wall so the heavier poo falls to the bottom, then sweep the bedding and poo from the bottom of the wall into a pile and sieve it. It sounds like it will take forever but actually isn't that bad and gets most of the little bits out. I reckon it's an extra 20 mins or so once a week.
