Has anyone had trouble with Liverpool Wood Pellets (trading as Volcano Wood Pellets)???

Ordered a pallet of pellets two weeks ago (inc additional delivery charge) and delivery was advised to be 3-7 days. Spoke to someone on day 9 (Friday) who advised that they were behind with orders but my order was due for dispatch on the Monday. I would receive a phone call on Monday/Tuesday to arrange delivery Tuesday/Wednesday - approx 12 days after order was placed. It’s now Thursday and I have had no further communication from them. I have called numerous times a day for the past four days, left 4 voicemails and emails but had absolutely no response. I will now be requesting a refund through my credit card.
Just wondered if

a) anyone had similar experiences with them

b) what wood pellets company people can recommend as I now need to find an alternative supplier!

I’m based in South Devon.

This adverse weather is causing nightmares for some businesses. I would buy a few bags locally to tide you over and then go back to them when the weather improves. Most of the bedding companies I have ever used have had problems with high demand / transport in February, its the worst month to order a new load.

Phew...i thought you were going to reveal some reason why wood pellets are no good for bedding as im just about to convert over to them!

I hope you find a good supplier. Some are great at calling back or answering emails, others not at all. See it as a one off, as stated, could be the weather mucked up their normal delivery routine.
