What wood pellets do you all use and why?

I love LWP but they are too expensive now so would like an alternative as I'm currently using Thirsty Bed and they are no where near as absorbant, I also prefer the lighter colour.

I use five star at the moment, it's good but I actually prefer straw pellets as they are much more absorbent, however straw pellets are really dark coloured.

Not used any other brand of wood pellets so cant compare the fivestar.

I have used verdo and currently I am using the five star... much prefer the five star, really absorbent compared to the verdo They stay a nicer colour for longer as well which is much nicer to look at as well!

We used to use balcas brites and they were great, now supplier has verdo and they don't seem as absorbent or stay as clean looking but wasn't sure if it was because I hadn't set up a proper winter bed and the summer one was gettin dirty quicker ?

I use five star and love them. Use the cheaper ones and they stay a nice colour and i dont use much at all per week to top beds up.
