Woodchip arena help

OK, just had the arena re done, drainage put in and a top up of wood chips (Would prefer another surface but was out of my control)

So.... I need advice as to how to get it at its best. I have levelled it and rolled it after every ride and it is getting firmer with time, but is still a bit deep for my liking, is there anything I should be doing to get it to settle? Or is it just something that takes time?



Any other tips appreciated

Mine got really deep during the summer when it was really wet although for some reason I didn't have the same problem in the winter!- I spoke to the suppliers of the surface and they suggested adding more of the shavings type material which I did and it bound it together really well and then once it was rolled a couple more times it started to "fix"
