Woof Wear - Track My Hack?

Love and myself took our lovely horses out hacking today (both were extremely well behaved and Belle finally got the hang of gates!!)
I have the Track My Hack app and set it off when we left then locked my phone and stuck it in my boot. When we got back it had recorded how long it took us but the route we took didn't show on the map nor did it say how far we went or how fast.
Does anybody else have it? Are you not meant lock your phone and just leave it to sort it's self out? I'm a bit confused

Could you possibly not have had enough a signal?

I normally have fab signal around here which is why I thought it was due to me locking my screen. The lines on the images are when my phone was unlocked

Did you make sure your gps was turned on. I use the app endomondo to track my rides that shows speed, miles been and calories burnt etc

I have had a few rides like this, loss of signal I think.

I use everytrail pro and it always works, even when my Garmin looses signal.

Did you make sure your gps was turned on. I use the app endomondo to track my rides that shows speed, miles been and calories burnt etc

I use Endomondo too, and on the rare occasion I forget to put my GPS on, I get a similar looking picture
