ok, my eyes are going squint after hours of reading posts and info about various makes of boots....

im after brushing boots for everyday use, and xc boots.

ive always had woofwear brushing boots and to be honest, id prob stick with them, the double lock versions. i got hung up on the 'ventilation' thing, but a)im not sure a wee plastic vent in a boot is going to make that much diff b)neoprene is breathable anyway...

now for xc.... i was all set to get the woofwear xc boots, but i can only see them for fronts ? ? or am i being thick? what are you meant to use on the hinds then?

thanks

I bought those boots and was REALLY disappointed

I used them only on the fronts, and the double locked WW brushing boots on the back for cross country. The back boots stayed put and were perfect, but the fronts - oh mannnn.....*rolls eyes*... It didn't matter how tight I fastened them, they wouldn't stay put, I even put electrician tape round them. They would twist round, and as soon as you went in the water - game over! They slouched down and held water in them!

Got rid of them and my next purchase was the N.E.W. xc airoflow boot - LOVE THEM!!!

I bore people silly saying this, but love my Tri Zone Cross Country boots

. Have them all round. Keep her legs reasonably cool (note your comment, but the vents seem to work

). Easy to put on/take off. Clean easily. Dry easily.

hhhm, ok, thank you, thats interesting.

ive spoken to woofwear this morning and it seems they just dont do a hind in the xc boot at all, and that they recommend the ultra all round for decent level xc. apparently all but the club boots are fully breathable as well.
