I'm feeling very proud of myself tonight because I have been working really hard to conquer my fear of jumping from canter...it's not just my fear I have to deal with, it's the fact that for the past 2 years I've been making Murphy trot into every jump, so he thinks he doesn't need to canter

But tonight we jumped a course of logs, up to 2ft 6, all in canter

which is a very big achievement for us and is the first time we've ever done a course in canter

and we jumped a scary log that we've not jumped before which is about 2ft3 and is several logs piled together so is quite wide.

Awww Bex - well done! I know how you feel - me and Jerry jumped about 2ft 6 this week at my friend's house. I was so proud of how well behaved he was - And how confident I felt on him!

Thanks Bex - it is the highest I have ever jumped on him! He did actually knock it down the first time - I don't think he's used to jumping anything over 2ft!
