Woohoo I jumped my First Ever Water Tray Today

I know this may seem daft but I have been scared of ever trying or having to jump a water tray, but today I bit the bullet! Of course George cantered up to it, didn't even look and just popped over it like it wasn't there

Whatever was I scared of?? After this we did it a bit bigger with a pole on the higher cups. Sorry bit self indulgent but it was a big step for me

Ooo, I'll have a look at your pics when I get home, on work comp now and it won't load them.

I've only jumped a water tray once and my horse can be soooo spooky, especially at jumps, so we had to go through 2 trays, gradually moving them closer together until eventually she went over it! I was terrified cos she throws in some very dirty stops!

Really pleased you've had such a good time, keep it up!

I tried putting a bloody great spooky 5 year old over a water tray today. Ended in rears, bucks, bunny hops and a particually dirty stop and spin with my hanging off his neck like I was giving him a bear hug! So well done you because my day wasn't so successful!
