Well after my fall last week I was a little apprehensive but Jenny jumped fab today. She was a bit iffy the next time I jumped her after I fell off but we did loads of gridwork through the week and by the middle of the week she was back to normal.
I arrived quite early (after a 5 o'clock start this morning (groan) - but at least the clocks change tonight so an extra hour in bed to make up for it) and walked the course which was really nice and inviting - much nicer and more flowing than the BN we did last week. We went first in and thanks to all of you who gave me advice re warming up for the JO when you are at a show on your own. What a difference being that bit more organised makes! We were 3rd to go in the JO and timed warming up just right. Jenny went like the clappers mind and was taking strides out all over the place but I was so pleased with her and especially chuffed to come 3rd! Our first placing BSJA. My position felt so much more secure than last time out and no dodgy stirrup moments - thank goodness. Now just have to plan the next one.
Here are a couple of pics.

Thanks everyone, and madhossy -Yes I met loads of really nice people! There was a girl on a big coloured horse that was only 4 and wouldn't go past the banners in the collecting ring so Jenny gave him a lead past a few times and so that broke the ice with her. Amazing for Jenny to be the "grown up" because she's such a drama queen as a rule! There was also a nice lady on a cob that I was chatting to after I came out of the JO. Both these poeple were just starting BSJA too so we had a bit in common so hopefully we might bump into each other at other shows too. I had a really nice day out. There is another show at Richmond on the 11th so I might venture there for the BN next time.
