YAYYYY i know i posted that I was having trouble getting my horse to TURN without walking sideways, as in to stop taking a shortcut and today I finally managed it in a lesson with the love of my life - Jack! He's a lovely 15.2hh piebald cob and we get on tremendously well, and I think thats partly why he worked well for me But yayyyy

i lifted my outside hand and nudged with my inside leg and clicked my tongue to get him to turn and he did it perfectly! I also got him to do a beautiful turn on the foreleg! I think thats what we managed anyway

he made me sooo proud

i was really pleased which is amazing, i usually hate my riding! Im not as confident in a lesson i prefer the excersise lessons where a group of us get to take our horses round the school in a walk and trot doing as we please but going no faster than a trot. It allows me to develop my own confidence and style which is what Jack allowed me to do! GOD I LOVE THAT HORSE
