Worcester Noseband?

Any one use one of these? Or have any experience of one? I've just been looking through the shires website and they say that this noseband is good for horses that rush or dive on the bit etc.. thinking about trying on for my boy as thats exactly what he does. Any comments welcome X

Ive never used one but a girl on my old yard tried it and didnt think it made much difference.

i think the two pieces attach to the bit rings and it works with nose pressure aswell as the bit

If you want to try it out before spending your money you can get a markedly similar effect by taking a flash noseband and threading the flash strap through the bit rings (from inside to outside) and then back up to where the flash joins the cavesson. Possibly more effective, but not quite the same as the Worcester, would be taking the flash strap through the bit rings and then rebuckling at the front of the nose. You need two fingers space with the bit in a normal position.
