Can you help with the correct wording on a receipt please. Daughter's pony is being collect in just under 2 weeks time and I need to know what to write on the receipt.

Purchase £XX.XX
Total £XXX.XX
Date of receipt, date of delivery.
Signed by you and i'd get them to sign it also to show they agree. . . If you're writing it by hand - do two identical so you have a copy also.

I would always write sold as seen on it too. Horses Full name, Buyer and Seller full name.

vendors name and address, buyers name and address, description of pony ie height, age, color sex. Sold as seen and tried and approved by purchaser. option to vet taken/not taken as purchasers own choice. Passed 5/2 stage vetting on date and time. For the sum of £x (sum in words) signed and dated by both parties. on end of page Enc passport and number, flu vaccs cert. in small print no warranties implied nor given.
A copy to be given to each party, witnessed by an independant person if so wished.
As pony is being collected in 2 weeks i would get the money now, and include in the wording sold on x date , to be collected on y date at the purchasers OWN RISK and expense.
